After the exercises, a Thanksgiving Mass, organized by the BUGS Students’ Council, was held. The mass was celebrated by Msgr. Noe Thomas, parish priest of St. Gregory the Great Parish of Albay and former BU chaplain.

As the celebration of the mass concluded, the program began with BUGS Dean Dr. Antonio P. Payonga and BU President Dr. Arnulfo Mascariñas welcoming the participants in their opening messages. Prizes were also awarded to the enthusiastic Fun Run participants, which were given by BUARO Director Dr.Rosana L. Madrona and BUGAAI President Mr. Edgar S. Barrameda.

The BUGAAI president also led the launching of the 2019 (Golden) Alumni Day Activities, which includes the ‘Search for 50 Outstanding BU Alumni’, the Coffee Table Book, the proposed Alumni Building, and the BU Alumni Database.
